No one has ever asked me why Turner Field is my favorite place in the world. Everyone thinks of the obvious reason why I love being at The Ted: Major League Baseball. Don’t get me wrong; I absolutely adore watching professional baseball (or any baseball for that matter), but what I love most about being at Turner Field is the atmosphere. Being surrounded by almost 50,000 people who are as passionate about baseball as you is almost indefinable. The feeling of being in unison with thousands of people cheering for the Braves would make anyone in the stadium feel like they belong. These people understand the euphoria that comes from walk off wins and series sweeps, but they also know how it feels to experience a horribly blown call or lose to a terrible team. Being at Turner Field, or any MLB field, transforms thousands of cheering baseball fans into a family, united by America’s Pastime. Any Major League Baseball fan would say that their favorite team’s stadium always makes them feel at home. Like Dorothy said, “there’s no place like home!”

Well said! Cheers to Turner Field and Braves fans everywhere!

El Oso Blanco doesn’t not simply high five. Watch here as Gattis and J.Upton throw up a bear claw after a big home run.
